Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has increased CNG prices by ₹3.89 per kg, effective from August 29, 2026, citing rising costs of imported Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).
The new retail price for CNG in Delhi now stands at approximately ₹86.98 per kg, impacting daily commuters and commercial transport operators across the National Capital Region.
This price adjustment follows a period of elevated global gas prices, forcing IGL to pass the increased procurement costs onto the end consumers.
