Consumer Electronics Prices Set to Rise from October 1

Appliance makers are raising prices of air-conditioners, LED TVs, refrigerators, and washing machines by 3 to 8 per cent starting October 1.

The festive season price increases are driven by higher manufacturing input costs for copper, aluminium, steel, and crude oil derivatives.

Supply-chain disruptions and rising freight expenses stemming from ongoing geopolitical conflicts are adding further cost pressures.
