BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday for attempting to drag President Droupadi Murmu into a political street fight following the Opposition's CEC row meeting.
Patra questioned why the Opposition delegation failed to submit evidence of alleged electoral irregularities to the President during their interaction at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The BJP leader also accused Gandhi of making misleading statements by claiming that the President agreed with their allegations of vote theft.
