India Among Seven Nations Interested in Hosting 2036 Olympics

India is one of seven nations currently in dialogue with the International Olympic Committee regarding potential bids to host the 2036 Summer Olympics.

Interested parties are invited to present their project proposals, including venue master plans and funding strategies, to the Future Host Commission in November.

The host city for the 2036 Games is expected to be selected by mid-2029, with no new interested parties to be considered after October 31.
