BJP Leader Dinesh Sharma Appointed Lt Governor of Andaman and Nicobar

The Centre officially appointed senior BJP leader Dinesh Sharma as the new Lieutenant Governor of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on September 6, 2026.

Sharma, a former Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, brings extensive administrative experience to the Union Territory's top constitutional post.
