Vote counting for 28 Legislative Council seats across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, and Karnataka begins at 8am on Tuesday following polls on October 23.
The electoral battle involves 182 candidates competing for five seats in Maharashtra and 152 candidates contesting 11 seats in Uttar Pradesh.
Ahead of the count, the RJD submitted a memorandum to Bihar's election office seeking safeguards, while the ECI suspended officials over Agra lapses.
