Formula One to Shorten Grand Prix Races Next Season

The FIA announced Formula One rule changes for next season, reducing Grand Prix race distances from 305 kilometers to 290 kilometers.

The distance reduction translates to roughly two or three fewer laps per race to align with reduced engine fuel flow limits.

The governing body also cancelled gearbox standardisation plans and updated rain interruption rules to protect spectator viewing time.
