India's left-handed batsman Abhishek Sharma scored a century in just 30 deliveries during the final T20I match of the series against Afghanistan in New Delhi.

Sharma reached his half-century in 16 deliveries—recording the joint-fourth fastest T20I half-century by an Indian—before accelerating to finish with 108 runs from 34 balls.

His 30-ball century set a record for Test-playing nations on the fastest T20I hundreds leaderboard, placing him third overall behind Sahil Chauhan and Muhammad Fahad.
