Tenglish Film 'Impure' Offers Sharp Social Satire on Coming of Age

Directed by Nishanti Evani, the English-Telugu film 'Impure' portrays two female cousins and their male friend navigating careers and relationships in Visakhapatnam.

The narrative blends social satire with family drama, exploring themes of social media optics, marriage cancellations, and parental expectations without linear clichés.

While the female leads showcase complex layers, male characters such as Pranav are comparatively underwritten in the coming-of-age feature debut.
