The Medical Education Department in Uttarakhand officially cancelled the MBBS admissions of four female students who used fraudulent Freedom Fighter Dependent Quota papers.
Director of Medical Education Ashutosh Sayana confirmed that formal First Information Reports were registered against the accused students and their family members.
Authorities filed the police cases at Clement Town and Raipur stations in Dehradun under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections for cheating and forgery.
