Microsoft Restores Taskbar Customization Features in Windows 11 Update

Microsoft is reintroducing taskbar customization in Windows 11, allowing users to position the taskbar on any of the four sides of the screen for the first time since the OS launch.

The upcoming update, currently in the Release Preview channel, also includes new size options for the Start menu and toggles to hide profile information.

These changes address long-standing user feedback regarding the removal of features that were standard in previous versions like Windows 10 and Windows 7.
