Global Condemnation of Israel's New West Bank Settlement Plans

Seven nations, including the UK, France, and Germany, condemned Israel's plan to build 1,200 housing units in the E1 project, calling it a violation of territorial contiguity.

The project, which includes at least 3,400 total units, would bisect the West Bank and cut off its link to East Jerusalem, threatening the two-state solution.

UN data indicates that forced displacement of Palestinians from the West Bank in the first four months of 2026 has already exceeded the total for 2025.
