The software utilizes the Qwen 3.8 27B language model and includes a context compaction feature to summarize prompts exceeding the model's 100,000-token processing limit.

Perplexity plans to expand the tool's availability to Windows machines equipped with Nvidia RTX graphics cards and add support for the Nemotron 3.5 Lightning model in an upcoming update.
