The Supreme Court on Wednesday asked the Election Commission not to force nearly 4.3 million Delhi residents removed from electoral rolls to reapply via Form 6.
The bench suggested allowing such voters to use Form 8 or enumeration processes, while questioning the use of the disputed logical discrepancy category.
The court directed the poll panel to proactively reach out to voters rather than placing the burden on them before the December 4 final roll publication.
