Microsoft's August 2026 update for Windows 11 introduces the ability to uninstall specific AI models, giving users more control over system resources and storage.
The update also adds Windows Hello ESS support for external sensors and new customizable touchpad gestures to improve navigation efficiency for laptop users.
These features are currently rolling out to all Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2 users, following successful testing in the Windows Insider program earlier this year.
