Nine Die in Greater Noida Bus Fire After Driver Ignores Smell

Nine passengers died after a Delhi-to-Mahoba sleeper bus caught fire on the Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida late Wednesday night following an apparent AC blast.

According to an FIR, the driver and conductor ignored a burning smell, continued smoking bidis in the cabin, and told distressed passengers, 'If you want to die, then die'.

The driver and conductor fled the scene before police arrival, and authorities are currently working to apprehend them as injured passengers receive treatment at Kailash Hospital.
