Three more members of an impoverished tribal family from Kandhamal district have cleared the NEET exam, bringing the total to five doctors or medical students.
The eldest son, Bibhisan Naiak, who financed studies partly through tutoring and loans, became the first in his family to secure an MBBS seat.
The family's parents, a migrant agricultural worker and a homemaker, sustained the children through farming and below-poverty-line welfare schemes.
