Russian Drone Strike on Kryvyi Rig Shopping Centre Kills 16

A Russian double-tap drone strike on a shopping centre in Kryvyi Rig, Ukraine, killed 16 people on August 21, 2026, with a second drone hitting the roof to target emergency responders.

The attack in President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's hometown also wounded 130 people, including 23 children, while a separate strike in the Mykolaiv region claimed four additional lives, including three minors.
