The move follows a nationwide outcry after FSSAI and NHRC received reports of synthetic ingredients being used in dairy substitutes across multiple states.
State officials are now conducting raids to ensure compliance, aiming to protect consumers from health risks associated with non-dairy, chemical-based paneer alternatives.
