Cornell students staged a sit-in at a dining hall and boycotted campus spending to protest the university's handling of an alleged 2024 fraternity gang rape.
Demonstrators demanded revised disciplinary procedures and the expulsion or revocation of degrees for anyone involved in the sexual assault lawsuit filed by Jane Doe.
Cornell previously shut down the Chi Phi fraternity chapter in 2024 and brought in former US Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates to review campus sexual assault investigations.
