The character is depicted as a master of the Sanjeevni Vidya, a mystical power capable of resurrecting the dead, which plays a central role in the film's cosmic conflict.

The film explores the complex backstory of the sage, tracing his journey from a brilliant student at Gautama Rishi’s ashram to a strategic mentor for the Asuras.
