Irish novelist Sally Rooney's books will no longer be sold in Britain because her royalties are intended to support Palestine Action, a group banned under UK terrorism laws.
Publisher Faber stated it cannot legally pass UK earnings to the author, rendering local sales unconscionable under current British legislation.
Rooney stated she is fully prepared to accept the consequences of being transparent about her political beliefs and intentions.
