Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay officially announced the withdrawal of all legal cases filed against farmers and teachers during various protests between 2021 and 2026.
The decision aims to provide relief to thousands of individuals who faced litigation under the previous DMK administration for participating in state-wide demonstrations.
The CM also unveiled plans for a new ₹4,800-crore desalination plant in Minjur, designed to provide 400 million litres of water daily to address regional shortages.
