Air India Express Flight Returns to Kochi After Engine Oil Alert

An Air India Express flight bound for Abu Dhabi was forced to return to Kochi on September 7, 2026, after the crew detected a critical drop in engine oil pressure.

The aircraft, carrying passengers at 36,000 feet, initiated an emergency landing procedure 50 minutes into the flight and landed safely at Cochin International Airport.
