Maharashtra Government Launches Mission Mode for School Education Overhaul

Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde directed the School Education Department to implement a time-bound action plan to modernize schools and improve student outcomes.

The initiative includes encouraging MLAs and MPs to adopt schools and leveraging corporate sector expertise for technology training and infrastructure development.

Officials will conduct weekly review meetings to monitor progress on teacher training, health checkups, and the effective implementation of Central Government schemes.
