Chirag Paswan Files Complaint Against Influencer Swatantra Bhardwaj

Union Minister Chirag Paswan filed a formal complaint with Delhi Police on September 4, 2026, against influencer Swatantra Bhardwaj for falsely claiming political protection from him.

The complaint, submitted by advocate Sushil Kumar, clarifies that neither Paswan nor the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) has any connection to Bhardwaj or the July Jantar Mantar assault incident.

Delhi Police has expanded the FIR against Bhardwaj to include charges under the POCSO Act, criminal intimidation, and the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act following allegations of online harassment.
