CJP Inspection Team Attacked During Rajasthan School Visit

A Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP) inspection team was chased and attacked by villagers on August 21 while investigating reports of a school operating out of a buffalo shed in Rajasthan.

The CJP has issued a 48-hour ultimatum to the Rajasthan state government, alleging that local police remained 'mute spectators' during the violent confrontation.

Opposition leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal, have condemned the incident, questioning the state of law and order and the safety of civil society volunteers in the region.
