Gem Granites Founder’s Former Employee Arrested in POCSO Case

The Central Crime Branch arrested Ganeshan, a former Gem Granites employee, for possessing a video that purportedly showed industrialist R. Veeramani engaging in an obscene act with a minor.

Ganeshan allegedly failed to inform the police about the video, which was found on his mobile phone, and was subsequently produced before a court and remanded in Puzhal Central Prison.

Veeramani and his alleged accomplices Shanthi and Mahendra Simhan were previously arrested on August 29, 2026, and remanded in prison after a case was registered for paedophilia.
