The Supreme Court deferred the Punjab government's challenge to a high court order directing a CBI probe into alleged corruption linked to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's office.
A bench of justices Dipankar Datta and Sheel Nagu agreed to hear the matter on Friday after noting the case file had not reached Justice Nagu in time.
The high court ordered the CBI probe after the Enforcement Directorate alleged officials operated an organised network to manipulate postings and tenders for bribes.
