Television actor Mahhi Vij sparked controversy on the first day of Bigg Boss 20 by calling the show a 'divorcee special' while discussing personal lives with other contestants.
The season premiered on September 6 with 16 contestants, including Mary Kom and Isha Rikhi, who both reportedly refused to discuss their past marriages with Vij.
Mahhi Vij, who announced her separation from Jay Bhanushali in January 2026, described her participation in the show as her 'second innings' after 14 years of marriage.
