The Uttarakhand government has lifted the long-standing freeze on recruitment for vacant teaching and non-teaching positions in the state's aided non-government secondary schools.
School Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat announced that school management committees will now be permitted to fill vacant positions based on student enrollment figures.
Recruitment will proceed exclusively for sanctioned vacant posts that have been formally revived or restored by the competent authority to ensure compliance with established rules.
