VIT Chennai and The Hindu organized a one-day Biotech Conclave on September 11, 2026, bringing together industry experts, researchers, and students to discuss career pathways in life sciences.
The conference was inaugurated by Suchitra Ella, co-founder of Bharat Biotech and CII-president designate, alongside VIT chancellor G. Viswanathan.
The conclave featured expert panel discussions covering gene editing, precision medicine, India's rise as a biopharma hub, and research funding ecosystems.
