Hyderabad's Ruth John Paul becomes India's first transgender PG doctor

Dr. Koyyala Ruth John Paul cleared all subjects in the MD/MS examination results, becoming India's first transgender doctor to complete a postgraduate medical course.

She completed her postgraduate degree in Emergency Medicine at ESIC Medical College and Hospital in Sanathnagar, Hyderabad, following a legal battle for admission.

She aims to use her medical training to serve everyone, particularly transgender individuals facing critical medical emergencies, without discrimination.
