Liverpool Schools Placed on Lockdown Following Security Alert

Multiple Liverpool secondary schools, including Gateacre and Cardinal Heenan, activated lockdown protocols after receiving emails containing threats of violence.

Merseyside Police confirmed the threats were hoaxes and that all pupils and staff remained safe throughout the incident on Saturday.

Authorities are continuing enquiries to identify those responsible for the malicious communications, while schools have resumed normal operations under police guidance.
