Delhi Government Launches Lakshmi Yojana Portal for Women

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta launched the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana portal, which provides a monthly stipend of ₹2,500 to eligible women aged 21 to 60.

Applicants must meet specific criteria, including a family income under ₹2.5 lakh, and are now required to submit a recommendation letter signed by a local MLA or MP.

The scheme excludes government employees, income taxpayers, pensioners, and households owning four-wheelers, with only the eldest woman in a qualifying household eligible for the benefit.
