CJP Challenges Lok Sabha Rejection of Questions on Youth Protests

CJP spokesperson Saurav Das criticised the Lok Sabha for disallowing three sets of questions regarding youth protests, citing notice reference numbers 101799 and 101801.

The rejected questions sought information on NEET-UG 2026 fee refunds, police action during the July 20 'Sansad Chalo' march, and the resignation of former Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Authorities cited Rule 41(2) clauses including (i), (iv), (v), (xviii), and (xxii) to justify the rejection, claiming the questions were either too general or involved matters under adjudication.
