THE BRIEF
1

Medical records from Lady Hardinge Medical College confirm that protesters injured during the July 20 demonstration in Delhi underwent surgery to remove metallic foreign bodies, including 2mm pellets.

2

At least seven metallic objects were surgically retrieved from petitioner Sheikh Irshad Mansoori, while other victims reported up to 20 pellet-like objects lodged in their bodies following the Jantar Mantar protest.

3

The Delhi Police issued a statement on Wednesday denying that protesters sustained gunshot injuries, claiming that the medico-legal case findings do not corroborate allegations of firearm use by security forces.
