Israeli minister Smotrich calls for annexation of south Lebanon and Gaza parts

Israeli far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich called for annexing parts of southern Lebanon up to the Litani River and parts of the Gaza Strip.

Smotrich also advocated for military action in the occupied West Bank to dismantle the Palestinian Authority.

The Ramallah-based Palestinian Authority strongly condemned the statements as an explicit call for escalation and displacement.
