Popular Tamil playback singer Krishnaraj Ramasamy passed away in Chennai on Thursday at the age of 75.

He is widely known for his collaboration with music composer Deva on hit songs in the 1990s and 2000s, including 'Vellarikka' and 'Thanjavooru Mannu Eduthu'.

His mortal remains are scheduled to be taken to his hometown of Vembadithalam in Salem on Friday morning.
