A fire broke out early Sunday at a Saudi Aramco oil facility in the coastal city of Jizan, but authorities confirmed the blaze was successfully extinguished with no reported casualties.

Yemen's Houthi armed group claimed responsibility for the incident, with military spokesman Yahya Saree stating the refinery was targeted by a precise drone strike in response to alleged airspace breaches.

While Aramco chief Amin Nasser noted recent attacks caused minor production interruptions, the company maintains that these incidents have had no material operational or financial impact on its global energy operations.
