Yemen's Houthi rebels claimed a direct hit on the Saudi defence ministry in Riyadh using a ballistic missile on Tuesday.

Saudi authorities intercepted two missiles earlier in the day, while unconfirmed reports surfaced regarding a fire at the Ras Tanura oil refinery.

The escalation follows a period of heightened regional tension involving the United States, Iran, and the Mecca Joint Defence Alliance.
