Google Launches Gemini 3.7 Flash for AI Agent Workflows

Google released Gemini 3.7 Flash, an entry-level AI model that outperforms competitors like Anthropic's Claude Sonnet 5 and OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Terra across multiple benchmarks, including programming and business document analysis.

The model supports up to 1 million tokens per prompt and features improved multi-step planning and tool-calling capabilities, making it suitable for powering AI agent ensembles and complex software projects.

Google is offering developers access to the new model at half the price of the previous 3.6 Flash version through the end of 2026 and integrating it into the Gemini Spark consumer agent.
