A private training aircraft operated by Garg Aviation crashed into a field near the Ganga barrage in Kanpur on Thursday morning, resulting in the deaths of both the pilot and co-pilot.
The aircraft, which took off from a local civil aerodrome, reportedly developed technical snags before losing altitude and crashing, with police and rescue teams arriving at the site shortly after.
This incident follows a June 29 crash in Kasganj where a trainee pilot was injured after hitting a high-tension power line, and a May 13 hard landing involving a Redbird Flight Training Academy plane.
