NCERT constituted committees to develop English and Economics textbooks for Classes 11 and 12, featuring former ABVP media convenor Saket Bahuguna and PM-EAC members.
The 17-member English textbook committee is headed by EFLU Vice-Chancellor N. Nagaraju, while the 14-member Economics panel is led by PM-EAC member Sanjeev Sanyal.
The new textbooks will incorporate cross-cutting themes including Indian knowledge systems, cultural rootedness, equity, inclusion, and information technology.
