Eighteen-year-old Anahat Singh saved three match balls to stun world No. 6 Satomi Watanabe 3-2 in the semi-finals, becoming the first Indian female squash player to reach an Asian Games singles final.
Anahat triumphed with scores of 9-11, 11-13, 12-10, 11-6, 11-3, securing a spot in Sunday's final alongside compatriot Abhay Singh.
The singles final winners will secure the first-ever direct Olympic berths for squash ahead of its debut at the 2028 Los Angeles Games.
