The Sikkim Education Department and Google signed a Statement of Intent to integrate artificial intelligence into higher education across the Himalayan state.
The collaboration introduces the Google AI Educator Series to train faculty across 15 higher and technical government colleges and Khangchendzonga State University.
Education Minister Raju Basnet highlighted the initiative as an important step to equip educators with digital skills and strengthen the state's education ecosystem.
