Actor-producer Vidnyan Mane announced plans to initiate criminal proceedings against music composer Palash Muchhal after the Bombay High Court dismissed a defamation case filed against him.
The legal dispute originated in January following the cancellation of Muchhal's wedding to cricketer Smriti Mandhana, with Mane alleging he was cheated out of ₹40 lakh invested in a film.
Mane claimed the defamation suit was dismissed over procedural deficiencies and stated he intends to expose alleged false claims publicly through lawful channels.
