The product serves as a generic equivalent to Teva's QVAR Inhalation Aerosol and marks Aurobindo's entry into complex respiratory treatments.
The drug will be produced at subsidiary Aurolife Pharma's facility in North Carolina, targeting a U.S. market estimated at $301 million.
