Kerala HC Quashes Cheating Case Against Nivin Pauly

The Kerala High Court quashed a cheating case registered against actor Nivin Pauly and director Abrid Shine at the Thalayolaparambu police station.

Justice P.V. Balakrishnan noted that the parties had reached an out-of-court settlement in the financial dispute concerning film rights for Action Hero Biju 2.

Complainant P.S. Shamnas had previously alleged that the accused sold the film's overseas rights to a Dubai-based firm for ₹5 crore without his knowledge after failing to make up ₹3.5 crore in losses from Mahaveeryar.
