BRICS parliamentary forum expresses deep concern over West Asian hostilities

Parliamentary leaders from BRICS nations expressed deep concern over escalating West Asian hostilities during a joint declaration at the conclusion of the 12th BRICS Parliamentary Forum in New Delhi.

The joint declaration slammed unilateral coercive measures and economic sanctions as contrary to international law and called for a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict.

The forum also condemned the April 22, 2025 terror attack in Pahalgam in the strongest terms and called for the adoption of the Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism.
